The color stripe draws extra attention to the label, while allowing for a crisp reading contrast with the black-on-white text below. Specific OSHA and ANSI Z535 compliant colors, such as those offered by SafetyPro, indicate specific hazard levels; for example, the yellow stripe on this product is most commonly used to indicate a CAUTION level hazard.
